Run, Walk, Support Newhart at the Oso Fit 5K

Start your day with fresh air, fun, and Panther pride along the Oso Creek Trail.

Join the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Children’s Races on Saturday, February 28, from 7:30 to 11 am. Hosted by the City of Mission Viejo and the Chamber of Commerce, this community event supports local nonprofits. When you select Newhart PTA during pre-registration, 100 percent of your pre-registration fee goes directly to Newhart PTA and helps support Newhart students and programs.

The 5K begins at 8:30 am at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. The Kids’ Run starts at 10 am and offers quarter mile and half mile options for children of all abilities.

Pre-register by Friday, February 20, to ensure your registration fee benefits Newhart PTA. Online registration closes Wednesday, February 25, with in-person registration available on event day.

Stick around for the free Community Health Fair featuring local health and wellness organizations, giveaways, and resources. Run, walk, or cheer and support Newhart while enjoying a fun morning together.

Paleta Fridays!

The Newhart PTA will be selling delicious paletas after school every Friday at the front of the school. These locally owned fruit-filled popsicles and creamy ice cream bars are the perfect treat. They are $3 for one or $5 for two. Cool off with friends before heading home.
