Volunteers Needed for Mission Viejo BBQ Music Fest Parking Lot Fundraiser on July 12th

We need your help, Panther Community! On Sunday, July 12th, the Mission Viejo BBQ Music Fest will take place on the fields near Newhart Middle School. Our parking lot will serve as the Preferred Parking Lot, with $10 spots, and 100% of proceeds going directly to the Newhart PTA. Volunteers are needed to collect money, direct traffic, and promote the lot. Your support will make this fundraiser a success!

Reflections 2026–2027 Theme: What My Culture Means to Me

The 2026–2027 Reflections theme has been announced, and it is “What My Culture Means to Me.” This theme invites students to reflect on the traditions, values, experiences, and communities that shape who they are. Culture can include family traditions, food, language, music, celebrations, sports, and even school experiences that create a sense of belonging. Through visual art, photography, writing, music, dance, or film, students are encouraged to share what makes their story unique and why it matters to them. The focus is on personal meaning and connection.
Students can start working on their Reflections entries now and continue over the summer. All entries will be due on Friday, September 18th.
Reflections Chairperson Needed for 2026–27 School Year

We are currently looking for a 2026–27 Reflections Chairperson to help bring this inspiring arts program to life for our Panthers. Reflections encourages students to explore their creativity through Dance Choreography, Literature, Photography, Film Production, Music Composition, and Visual Arts, all centered around a meaningful annual theme. If you have a passion for the arts, creativity, and supporting student expression, we would love for you to take on this role.
